Private beach access starts at the front door! Deluxe furniture, elevator, custom kitchen, hardwood bamboo floors, gas fireplace, imported tile in bathrooms, game room with pool table and wet bar. Lounge in a 14X24 private pool with 3 built in love seats, enjoy the poolside bar or soak in the large, secluded 7 person hot tub on the top deck. Guests will love the 2 flat-screen TVs with Dolby surround sound in the great room and game room and the extensive video library.

Sheets only provided for full week rentals year round, no towels.

     So much fun, so little time!
    My grandparents and I spent a week in Island Jewel! Fun, busy and exciting even for a "let's see it all" 12 year old! I went hang gliding, took my first ferry ride, climbed roadside dunes to big beautiful deserted beaches, found a stingray spike and visited lighthouses! All of those things were just a short ride from Island Jewel, our NC home away from home. Some days we just chilled at the house.. playing pool or arcade games, swimming, grilling out, sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the beach. We are coming back to Island Jewel next year so I can get my next level certificate in hang gliding! Loved having the house sitting right in the sand! Thanks for a great week! Rebecca Vogt

     Wow! What a Jewel!
    My husband, grand daughter and I spent a wonderful week in Island Jewel. The view was breath taking any time of the day...sunrise to sunset. The location was perfect, off the steps and on the sand. We were centrally located and teaveled both north and south on the Outer Banks. Wonderful staff, beautiful furnishings and lots of ammenities made us begin to feel right at home immediately. Just staying at the house, walking on the beach, listening to the ocean, shelling, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub or setting on the deck made a great vacation day. We will be back! Thanks Sun Realty staff and Island Jewel owners. God bless.

  • Eight of us stayed at Island
    Eight of us stayed at Island Jewel for 2 weeks in Sep/Oct 2006. I've been coming to OBX since the 1980's, renting from Corolla to Buxton, and never did I have such a wonderful rental. It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked (it even had Tupperware), many games, puzzles & DVDs. The views were incredible. It was my best vacation ever!!     We vacationed with our children, their spouses/significant others, and grandchildren. This house was better than we dreamed. It was nicely decorated, lots of space, heated pool, hot tub, stones throw from the beach and next to the pier. It was a WONDERFUL vacation spot.

    We went to the OBX for the first time this year during Memorial Day Week and we had the best time. Our whole family enjoyed themselves, from playing at the beach, to fishing, to swimming in the pool, and just relaxing in the beautiful house. It was excellent! I would recommend this house and rental company to any family who is looking for a relaxing beach vacation. I must say that from my 3 year old up to my mother who is 58 we all enjoyed ourselves and created some wonderful memories. The people in the area are extremely nice and helpful also. Best vacation ever!!!

    This particular home provides the best for all age groups. We entertained a two year old AND a 79 year old - both of whom could enjoy the wondrous views of the surf but could easily make the trip to the beach! The pool was WARM AND INVITING, the view EXCEPTIONAL, the elevator made moving in CONVENIENT, the AMENITIES made us COMFORTABLE - THE TOTAL PACKAGE MADE FOR A WONDERFUL VACATION! We have stayed in this home twice and have already booked for next year!

  • A perfect vacation
    Our family stayed in Island Jewel in March 2010 and had the best vacation ever! The house is gigantic and gorgeous and offered every amenity we could have wanted. The proximity to the beach is phenomenal and we loved being so close to the pier! The hot tub is positioned on the upper deck for optimal privacy and the best views. We can't wait to come back to Rodanthe!!
