Absolutely beautiful classic Nags Head style oceanfront cottage is nestled on a quiet private ocean-to-road lot. Private Ocean access behind the house, 10 feet from cottage to beach! Newly renovated in 2010 with beach theme and brand new kitchen counter and new bathrooms. The cottage is perfect for a family or couples. The downstairs area has an outside shower, built in barbeque grill, utility/laundry room with beach chairs and toys. The property is right on the large muti-use walking path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road and is great for biking, walking and roller blading.

     Great Views But House Needs Work
    We had a lovely time at Snow Goose over Thanksgiving. The ocean views are fantastic. Location is perfect. Inside the unit is great. It is spacious, clean and modern. Nice new bathrooms. The kitchen could have a few more cooking essentials, like extra pans, etc. The washer/dryer is not in the unit, which was a drawback for us. Other than that, it is a great rental (provided the damage to the outside of the building caused, most likely from Hurricane Irene, such as torn/missing window screens, missing siding, and loose gutters are repaired before the 2012 rental season).

    Unit 560-A is lovely. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for any place nicer to spend our week. The view from the deck can't be beat!

  • Overall the unit was clean
    Overall the unit was clean and had great views of the ocean. We were able to purchase WIFI for the week. The kitchen could use a few more amenities like dish towels and a blender. And maybe a few board games would have been nice to play in the evenings. But the updated bathrooms were nice.

    Sorry, there was free wi-fi but someone took the sticker off of the refrigerator. We will add more dish towels and another blender and board games! Stuff disappears all the time and we don't even know it's gone. Thank you for the feedback!

  • 560A
    560A was beautifully decorated and the location is great, but it had 2 serious problems. The first is that the blinds in both bedrooms and bathrooms are completely see-thru at night ( you cannot get undressed after dark without everyone on the beach road seeing you). The second problem was that the property was listed with WIFI and did not have it. Sun Reality never responded to our call asking them to turn on the WIFI or point us to an internet connection.

    Blinds and wifi
    Thank you for the feedback! WIFI connection was available during your stay. It can be a little tricky so I am putting multiple wifi instructions in the unit this year. I will put in some black out shades under the blinds too! Thanks again!

    I just discovered this duplex, I think we are renting the other part- B unit. Does that have wifi too? It would be awesome if it does. Please let us know if it has that awesome wifi connection. Also, we are looking forward to our being in this place for the summer.
