This house is a terrific place to stay. It has all the amenties you can want for a family vacation: Close to beach (5-7 minute walk), it's own swimming pool and hot tub, several refridgerators for storing those cold drinks, enough televisions so the kids don't argue on who gets to watch what reality shows. Kitchen is well stocked and you will find just about everything you will need to cook meals for your family. There is a huge table so everyone can have a seat. And best part you can put the kids on the first two floors and adults can be on the third chilling out. Nice decks front and back as well as an outdoor shower to rinse off with both hot and cold water. The location is in a quiet section with lower traffic volume so you can ride your bike or take a walk. The house is also close to several grocery stores (10-15 minute drive) and some great local restaurants. From the house you can easily drive into Manteo or further south across Pea Island and points below for day trips to other locations and other public beaches. The beach itself is great as well (afterall, we are on a beach vacation). The location isn't overly crowded since there are no major hotels there. So you can always get a nice spot and have plenty of room for tossing frisbees, footballs, flying a kite, etc.). Being as close to the beach as we were we could leave our stuff and walk back to get lunch or more cold drinks. There is a private fishing pier within walking distance and if you want to try your hand at catching dinner you certainly can. There is also a public fishing pier a little further (5 min drive). Both rent tackle and sell bait. We highly recommend this property and you definitely will love the house and the location..

Very nice beach house with everything you can imagine. Great views of the beach from the deck, Very convenent location to everything. going to the pool after a day at the beach is something everyone should try. There was a new dishwasher installed and updated Kitchen gadgits from the toaster to the coffee pots...

This property fit our family reunion of 12 people very nicely - living areas, baths and bedrooms are all more than adequate. The mattresses are "old and tired" and could use updating - not the most comfortable sleep for adults. The balconies, pool and hot tub were all enjoyable and it's right across the street from the beach - wonderful! Some of the amenities are also "old and tired" - the can openers (both manual and electric) did not work, nor did the toaster or coffee maker. When we called mid-week, Sun Realty did replace them right away, but it would have been nice if these had all been checked before we arrived. The hot tub leaked and again, Sun Realty was very responsive. The dishwasher also doesn't work well and we let the realty company know about it, so hopefully it will also be repaired soon. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. The people at Sun Realty were all very nice and this could be a 4-5 star property if someone would just update and fix some of the items that are important for everyday living - especially the beds and kitchen items.
