Just returned from a week stay at "Pelican Perch" and loved it! The house is right on the beach with a lifegaurd stand at the bottom of the walkway (great reassurance for anyone with kids) and just doors down from the pier (in process of being rebuilt). The views off the ocean and sounds were amazing from both the 2nd and top floors of the house. Only caution would be that the 2 pyramid bunk rooms are in a wood planked/tile floored basement that tended to be pretty musty (basement smelling)-- anyone with allergies will not be able to stay in these rooms, so for us these rooms became unusable. Otherwise-- would definitely reserve this house again, just with a smaller group so that everyone had a bedroom as planned!
