Welcome to Pelican Vue! This semi-oceanfront beach house is located just 500' from the beach, making this ideal for families and beachgoers. This stunning property is under new ownership and offers breathtaking beach views from the front and a tranquil sound view from the back porch. Get ready to experience the ultimate beach vacation!

Located at milepost 16, this house is close to family activities, water sports, outlet mall, groceries and more. Enjoy close beach accesses to the North, at Grouse Street, and to the South, at Glidden Street. Take a short walk to Jennette’s Pier for fishing and family fun.

Updates for the 2024 rental season include: new mattresses in all three queen bedrooms, a new washer and dryer, and a Street Fighter arcade machine.

The private 12x24 pool is generally open the 2nd week of May - 2nd week of October.

The ring camera overlooking the driveway is not active during the rental season. Please do not tamper with it.

Sheets and towels are provided for full-week rentals.

Ground Level: Queen bedroom with a 40” Smart TV, Jack and Jill bath, pyramid bunk bedroom with a trundle and twin bed with 32” Smart TV, recreation room with a Foosball table and a Street Fighter arcade machine, a wet bar, and a full-size refrigerator, private pool and hot tub.

Mid Level: King en suite with 50” Smart TV, queen en suite with 40” Smart TV, queen en suite with 32” Smart TV, laundry room with washer and dryer.

Top Level: King en suite with 40” Smart TV, newly updated kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, great room with 65” Smart TV, dining area, half bath, decks in the front and the back for ocean and sound views.

Overall

Short walk to the beach access. You do have to cross Rt. 12 to go to the beach. Located directly behind the Sugar Kingdom store and next door to a Beach shop for that last minute t-shirt or beach toy shopping. This home had everything we needed plus what we didn.t know we needed! I heard no complaints from the group so I can say that the beds were comfy! We recommend and we would stay here again.

Great beach house with plenty to offer the renter/guests. Location is optimal with a couple of beach accesses within walking distance…The kitchen was equipped but could use a more efficient ice maker for the fridge also available utensils could use an upgrade. Overall it served its purpose…All beds that we used were satisfactory. Living areas were also very good.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Once we got inside we were satisfied with everything but a little outside upkeep would go a long way to making this house more appealing. Frying pans need to be replaced in kitchen. Otherwise plenty of everything. New mattress needed in middle bedroom 2nd floor other mattresses very comfortable. Rugs could be cleaned. Otherwise very clean inside.

The house was nice and we had a very good week. Kitchen was fairly well equipped just could use to be a little more organized. Beds where comfortable however with only 2 ac units the upstairs stays a little warm.

This was a good house. Amenities were pretty standard to what we've experienced in the past. We enjoyed having the pool! Beds and sofa were comfortable. The living space is adequate but it seemed a little small for our group. With 6 bedrooms it sleeps 12 but the dining table doesn't seat 12 people and no chairs are available to squeeze everyone in. We happen to have a tradition that everyone eats dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed. Did not like the cook top but the flat electric top may be standard in the area. We enjoyed our stay but would recommend for a smaller group. Would be great for about 8 people. One comment is that the outside of the house seemed very dirty - really needs to be power washed. However the house on the inside was fine.

Overall

Great house that was very well equipped for our large family. We were able to prepare all of our meals easily with the kitchen accessories and appliances. Mid level queen bed was reported to be uncomfortable and loud. Getting into the pool after a hot day was amazing and well worth the added expense. Beach access was a breeze and easy walking distance to ice cream. :D 1.7 miles to Food Lion as well as Duck Donuts.
