Always wanted to wake up on the beach and listen to the ocean lull you to sleep. We saw four weddings, a marriage proposal by plane and met wonderful people. Surf fishing was so easy and we saw our dolphins and pelicans every day. We won't be able to rent off the beach again. House had everything possible for a terrific week. We had to bring our own towels and mats but all else was there. Only Con was neighbors at hotel on our beach or late-nite wave jumping. A part of us will always be at Almost Heaven. We took 200 awesome photos.

Great Spot
Other than the traffic coming in on Saturday, my family and I have absolutely no complaints about our vacation! It was fantastic! The house is in a perfect spot - convenient location to travel to Duck and all the good restaraunts on Croatan Hwy. Plus, we had a wide area of beach all to ourselves all week because there are no rows of housing behind Almost Heaven. The size of the house was super spacious for 3 families with 3 toddlers running around. I will say that the pictures on the website do not do this property justice. It is a clean, nice house. We will definitely be returning to this vacation spot!

This was our second time
This was our second time renting this house. We enjoyed the spacious layout and the great ocean view. It speaks wonders about this rental in the fact that my friends from Iowa flew out twice just to be there.
The house turned out to be
The house turned out to be much more than the pictures could ever show! It was very clean and spacious. There was plenty of sleeping space and my entire family had a wonderful time. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The ocean couldn't have been any closer to the house. We got to see the dolphins almost every day. The beach was not crowded at all. We couldn't have had a better vacation!
We have stayed in this house
We have stayed in this house twice and just love it. We bought beach chairs and left them there for others to enjoy in the hopes that when we come back next year we can enjoy them again. It is a wonderful house and I hope all that stay in it have the same wonderful vacation we had.
