Take the short drive from Duck to Corolla and visit the Currituck Beach Lighthouse or the wild horses of Carova. This home is centrally located in the northern beaches.

    I just have to say that we stayed in Sand Roots V in August of 2006 and are still talking about how amazing the house was. The photos on this site are accurate, but they don't do the place justice. It is so obvious that the owners love this vacation home and have put so many personal touches around that it almost felt like we were staying a friend's place. We had 10 people from 56-6 months old and everyone was able to find a quiet place when necessary but there was plenty of room around that big dining table to eat as a family. We could not have asked for anything more!! Thank you.
