Sun Realty Agents Selected for June Episode of “Buying the Beach”

Nags Head, NC – Sun Realty agent Hugh “Scooter” Willey, head of the Willey-Lilley Team, will be featured in an upcoming June episode of “Buying the Beach,” kicking off the summer season of Destination America. The series features house hunters looking for their dream home. Buyers work with local agents and are presented with three different properties. The agents assist the buyers in considering their options and guide them through the purchase process.

In the “Sand Dune Steals” episode, newlyweds Lauren and Daniel search for their oceanfront dream home in the beach community of Nags Head, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The couple wants to return to the town where they met and got engaged. Their REALTOR®, Hugh “Scooter” Willey, works with them to find the best property for their needs and their budget. Their goal is to live in a beach cottage that’s just steps from the water. It’s Scooter’s ’s goal to help make that happen. The summer season of “Buying the Beach” kicks off June 2nd. Scooter was chosen by the production crew based on his experience and success as an Outer Banks real estate agent. The selection process began when “Buying the Beach” contacted Scooter and asked if he’d be interested in the opportunity. Several discussions and interviews later, he was invited to participated in an episode. “I knew this show was an opportunity to show what a great value Outer Banks real estate is. It was a pleasure to work with Lauren and Daniel. They were so excited. That’s always rewarding,” said Scooter. As the team leader for the Willey-Lilley team, he is a top producing agent, representing both buyers and sellers. He is proficient in residential and investment transactions.
