Looking for something to do this weekend? How about a family outing to the Wright Brothers National Memorial . Dive into a big part of Outer Banks history! On Saturday, June, 9, 2012, national parks across the country will be celebrating "Get Outdoors Day!" The Wright Brothers National Memorial will be celebrating by waiving park admission for that day (a $4 value). Be sure to bring your family and friends out to experience the site of the first powered flight, and learn about the nation's aviation history.

Other "Fee Free" Days will be "National Public Lands Day" , Septemer 29, 2012. And to honor veterans on "Veterans Day" , the weekend of November 10-12 will also be a "Fee Free!" For more information, visit the National Park Service website.

While entrance fees at Wright Brothers National Memorial will be waived for passengers in both private and commercial vehicles, recreation “user fees” such as permit fees, camping fees, and lighthouse tour fees are not waived.

Enjoy your time in the Outer Banks, and remember Sun Realty for all your vacation needs!
