Outer Banks Restaurant Week kicked off on Saturday, May 14 with the "Colington Crab Classic and Soft Shell Showdown". Judges tasted their way through soft shell delicacies and picked a winner between Team Outer Banks and Team Hampton Roads.Did you miss last weekend's events? Don't worry there's still plenty to do! Check out The Full Moon Grille’s newly opened Brewery and be one of the first to enjoy one of their delicous new brews, served with their absolutely, deliciously baked crab dip!
Next stroll on over to Ortega’z Southwestern Grill & Wine Bar and sample their culinary twist on the seasonal favorite - Tempora Fried Soft Shell Crab, stuffed with jalapeno’s and bleu cheese, served with Creme de Lyss Chardonnay.
Finally, wander over to the historic landmark, 1587 Restaurant and set your eyes on their breathtaking view of the Roanoke Sound while enjoying their Chef’s Choice of crab dish.
