Blue Moon Café and Grill-Surfside Plaza, Nags Head, NC

I enjoyed this new restaurant the very first night they opened. I was recommended by a friend who had gone at lunchtime, and said they had the “best” wings.  I took my daughter and we went for dinner.  We tried the wings, of course!  They were great!  They tasted as if they were baked, they had a little kick to them, but the best part was the generous amount of rosemary, and they were served with blue cheese!! A treat for me considering that blue cheese is a MUST with wings in upstate New York!  The service was great, the owner came by at least twice to check on us, and my daughter was given crayons and a coloring page to keep her occupied while waiting for our food.  My daughter had the children’s spaghetti, it was a big portion, and she loved it! I had a cheeseburger with American cheese, and it was great as well!  The prices are reasonable and the service is wonderful! This restaurant is a welcome addition and a great place to eat while vacationing on the Outer Banks.
